The purpose of Adventures in Health Care is to introduce high school students, primarily in grades 10 and 11, to a variety of healthcare careers and pathways.
This program allows participants to explore over numerous medical professions, including nursing, medicine, physiotherapy,medical technology and paramedicine through hands-on activities, workshops, and interactions with professionals in the field.
The Prince George team consists of Rotary volunteers, educators and health care professionals from School District 57, College of New Caledonia, BC Cancer North, BCEmergency Health Services, Northern Health Authority and the University of Northern British Columbia.
