WHAT WE DO

ADVENTURES IN HEALTH CARE provides Grade 10 and 11 students with an interest in health sciences the opportunity to explore and gain exposure to this field. The program introduces participants to postsecondary education, applied training, and career opportunities in health sciences, specifically in rural British Columbia. Additionally, it highlights diverse and real roles within the sector that contribute to patient care and offers career opportunities for qualified individuals.

QUESNEL

Plans are underway for the inaugural program to take place in Quesnel in May, 2024.. Full details regarding the application process will be available later this fall. The program will be open to grades 10 and 11 students in School District 28.

SUNSHINE COAST

Plans are underway for the inaugural program to take place at the Pender Harbour Health Centre on February 21 and 22, 2025. Full details regarding the interview process will be available later this fall. The program will be open to grades 10 and 11 students in School Districts 46 and 47.
