Your first point of contact with the health care system, family doctors are experts in diagnosing and treating the whole person. They care for patients in the office, the hospital, as well as other health care facilities and the patient’s home.

Pandemic aside, social workers walk alongside those who are experiencing a range of challenging situations. These may include such things as illness, disability, poverty, abuse and discrimination. Social workers are found in every facet of community life, including schools, hospitals, mental health clinics, senior centers, elected office, private practices, prisons, military, corporations, and in numerous public and private agencies.
